Our clinical paper “Non-invasive meningitis screening in neonates and infants: multicentre international study” is published by Pediatric Research (Nature). Results from a prospective study across three Spanish hospitals, one Mozambican and one Moroccan hospital. Neosonics achieved 94% accuracy in detecting elevated leukocyte counts in neonates and infants with suspected meningitis, compared to the gold standard (lumbar punctures and laboratory analysis).

Dr. Quero and Dr. Rau presented results obtained from 175 measurements from 14 patients of a Multicentric study led by University Hospital of Bellvitge at the American Society of Nephrology 2024 Kidney Week Annual Meeting (San Diego, USA) and the International Society of Peritoneal Dialysis 2024 Congress (Dubai,UAE), respectively. Kriba attended with a stand to showcase the technology to clinical KOLs and industry global leaders.
Sara Ajanovic, Medical Officer at Kriba presented “Screening for meningitis in newborns with a new non-invasive transfontanelar ultrasound device: a proof-of-concept study” and was awarded best presentation at the AEP 70th AEP Congress. The results from the 1st phase of the clinical trial were conducted in three leading high-volume Spanish hospitals, two Hospitals in Mozambique and one Hospital in Morrocco.
